Email Setup for Apple's Mail (OS X only)

1. Open Mail. It may be located on the Dock (see picture).
If it is not in the dock, it should be in the Applications folder located on the Hard Drive.

2. If there are no email acccounts set up in Mail, you will be asked for your email information. Please enter your name, and email address. The incoming and outgoing mail servers are (typed exactly without quotes): "mail.skyviewmail.com"
Your username is the part of your email address before the @skyviewmail.com

After pressing OK, you should be all set up!


To setup an email account manually, or to edit current email settings, do the following:

1. Click on the "Mail" menu at the top of the screen, and then click "Preferences".

2. Click on "Accounts" at the top of the screen. You should see the following:
Your settings should look similiar, with your username showing in the "username" field.

3. To add your outgoing mail server, click the drop down list by "Outgoing Mail Server" and click "Add Server".

4. Fill in the outgoing mail server with (without the quotes) "mail.skyviewmail.com" and press OK.

5. Once you close out of the preferences window, your settings will be saved.
